These terms cover your use of the Verdant mobile app and this website (“Verdant”). By using Verdant you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Verdant for keeping your own plant care journal. Please don’t copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its services.
Your content
Your plants, photos, and notes are yours. You’re responsible for what you add. If you enable cloud sync, you grant Verdant permission to store and transmit that content solely to provide backup and sync to you — nothing more.
Plant care & AI are guidance, not guarantees
Premium & purchases
Some features require Premium. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, including billing, renewal, and refunds. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings.
Availability
Verdant’s optional cloud and AI services are provided “as is” and may change, pause, or have downtime. We aim for reliability but don’t promise uninterrupted service. The core journal keeps working offline regardless.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Verdant for anything unlawful or to infringe others’ rights.
- Don’t attempt to overload, probe, or abuse the sync or AI services.
- Don’t submit content you don’t have the right to submit.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Verdant is provided without warranties, and we’re not liable for indirect or incidental damages, lost data, or plant loss arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes bump the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
